History
2006: rises the wish to create a more comfortable and useful bicycle for a daily use. Following research and exchanging ideas with many cyclist to know their different needs, looking for a concrete and valid answer.
2008-2009: the designs become prototypes and the Classic model is born.
2010: launches the pre-series, improving the load volume of the front bag.
2013: wins “Best Urban Bike” at the Ispobike BrandNew in Munich.
2011-2014: the activity is possible thanks to the collaboration with the friends from La Stazione delle Biciclette in Milan.
2015: starts a strong growth in production, expanding our international sales network.
2016: increases the product range with two new models, the Justlong and the Sports, to overcome the limits of the first model for specific uses.
2017: Bicicapace becomes a Srl company.
2020: We expand our offer with two new models the Pelican, our front loaded, and the Classicona, our mid-tail. Accessories keep coming.
Philosophy

For us it’s the bicycle, as a simple machine used to transport a person.
The big challenge now is keeping the aesthetic and stylistic language to the essence, which brings us to the bicycle world that we knew when we were young with our grandparents.
Bicicapace wants to connect the usefulness of the traditional bikes to the one belonged to the big cargo bikes.
We strongly believe that this could be a key point for the future innovation.

We design bicycles because we strongly believe that a different way of transportation is possible and it can help our planet health for us and for the future generations.
The models are designed and developed for the cyclists, who ride everyday as main way of transport. We believe in innovation, style and simple solutions as a mean to improve the purpose and the potential of the product.
Bicicapace offers a range of bicycles with a comfortable load system easy to carry, integrated in a compact bike.
We choose steel as leading material for cargo bikes, particularly suitable for everyday use, to go to work and to do shopping. It allows simple lines and specific details, typical of old-fashioned Italian bicycles. The incessant research of new technologies and suppliers lets us update the bicycles and the accessories in a creative way, enjoyable for us to project and for you to ride.
