History

2006: the idea is born to create a more comfortable and practical bicycle for everyday use. Research and many conversations with cyclists follow, to understand their different needs and find a concrete answer.
2008-2009: the designs become prototypes and the Classic is born.
2010: the pre-series is launched, with a larger front bag.
2011-2014: the business grows thanks to our collaboration with our friends at La Stazione delle Biciclette in Milan.
2013: Bicicapace wins “Best Urban Bike” at ISPO Bike BrandNew in Munich.
2015: production grows strongly and our international sales network expands.
2016: the range grows with two new models, the Justlong and the Sport versions, to go beyond the limits of the first model for specific uses.
2017: Bicicapace becomes a limited company (Srl).
2020: two new models join the range: the Pelican, our front-loader, and the Classicona, our mid-tail. New accessories keep coming.
2022: we introduce Bosch motor assistance on the E-Justlong and E-Pelican.
2026: new models coming soon! A tandem and much more… stay tuned!
